I focus on providing a family-centered approach to care, built on a foundation of trust, by setting honest and realistic expectations. I take pride in partnering with families, as a member of their team, to support their treatment decisions, utilizing a shared decision-making model. I strive to support the patient and family to prepare them for both the current details of treatment as well as providing anticipatory guidance for the future. A cancer diagnosis doesn’t solely affect the patient, it affects the entire family.
