Karl Cristie F. Figuracion is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the management of medical and radiation oncology patients with central nervous system cancers. She is part of the radiation oncology team at the University of Washington Alvord Brain Tumor Center.

I believe that patients should always be in the center of care and considering all aspects of the patient’s life, knowing their goals and what is most important to them in creating treatment plan.
I always tell my patients that they are the driver of their care and as providers we guide them through their journey to make the experience as seamless as possible. I do my best in preventing complications and minimizing side effects from the treatment to avoid hospitalizations so that they can enjoy their time outside of treatment and have a great quality of life.
