I see my role as a nurse practitioner as wholistic. My approach to patient care centers on fostering trust and open communication with patients and their families. I like to create safe spaces with compassionate listening; providing care that is both evidence based and respects patient priorities and values. I want patients to feel empowered to make good health care decisions while helping them to feel that they are not alone in navigating both their cancer diagnosis and the complex world of health care.
